Norman Pearlstine is the executive editor of The Los Angeles Times. He’s an American editor and media executive, who has previously held key positions at Time Inc., Bloomberg L.P. and the Wall Street Journal., a company that uses machine learning to provide data and news to financial professionals. He is on the board of Inside Climate News, is Co-Chair of USC Annenberg’s Center on Communication, Leadership & Policy, and he is a Senior Advisor at the Committee to Protect Journalists. Pearlstine previously served as Time Inc.’s Editor in Chief, Chief Content Officer and Vice Chairman. He also worked at Bloomberg L.P. as Chief Content Officer; at The Carlyle Group as its Senior Advisor for Telecom and Media; and at The Wall Street Journal, as its Managing Editor and then Executive Editor; and at Forbes, as an Executive Editor.
