Jim Albrecht directs product development for publisher-facing initiatives at Google, including Subscribe with Google, the Google News Initiative’s local project, Google Trends, and other products aimed at making journalists more effective and efficient.
Prior to Google, Jim held a variety of digital media jobs. He ran software application development for the Samsung SmartTV division, news personalization at AOL, and broadband product development at Excite@Home. Jim started his career as a New Yorker fact checker. He holds a classics degree from Princeton.
