On your to-do-list: rethink the way you are covering migrations

Greek National Opera (ground floor)

Migration coverage has always been a hot topic, often accompanied by accusations of bias. But it is very difficult to be fair and balanced when lives are at risk and data are incomplete. Today, the topic of migrations is often used as a political weapon and it has become more difficult for media professionals to cover this issue beyond emotion and sensationalism. Is it possible to define guidelines? How do we fight rumors, hoaxes, and misinformation? And how can we change the narrative?
